Walking on Water in KL

Walk-on-water

Who says only god can walk on water? You too can walk on water in this fun pool. Not only can you walk, but also dance, play and move anyway you want. At an event sponsored by Mach of Hong Leong Bank, a pool in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, filled with 2,100 gallons of non-Newtonian fluid called “oobleck” was introduced. The fluid, a gooey liquid made of corn starch and water, allows people to walk on it.

People walked, danced, ran played soccer, and even rode a bike on it, without sinking (the bike went right down though!). How, you may ask. The trick is to keep moving. Stand in one place in the pool for too long and you will go down into the oobleck! The fun pool, filled with blue oobleck, is an excellent way to push up the fun element in your parties up by a notch.
