In recent weeks, two Mandarin debating teams from Garden International School (GIS) have competed in the inaugural national level debating competition for international schools. The teams, consisting of students from Years 8 to 11, performed superbly, making their school communities incredibly proud. Special congratulations go to Linhao Fan and Zitong Wang who both won ‘Best Speaker’ awards. 

Well done to everyone involved, including GIS Mandarin teacher, Ms. Ling, who won ‘Best Instructor’ in the competition. This was a great opportunity to raise the profile of world languages, as well as celebrate the immense talent across our school communities.
