Pat is a freelance writer and journalist based in Kuala Lumpur. Before escaping from wage slavery five years ago, he worked in television news, as a reporter, producer and editor. Despite leaving that world behind, he retains a soft spot for his long-term former employer, the BBC. He has one (unpublished) novel to his name, and two others in the works. Pat loves food, books, travel, train timetables and Leeds United FC... but not necessarily in that order.
