From October 15–25, 2026, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur welcomes guest chef Saad Ibrahim Marey to Lemon Garden for a limited-time Egyptian dinner buffet showcasing the rich culinary heritage of North Africa. Bringing time-honoured recipes to the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the showcase offers diners an opportunity to discover the vibrant flavours and generous hospitality of Egypt.
The sumptuous spread features charcoal-grilled kebabs, comforting traditional meat stews, and Molokhia, a silky green soup made from minced jute mallow leaves, alongside interactive live-action stations where guests can enjoy dishes prepared as part of the dining experience.
The journey continues with a selection of classic Egyptian desserts, including warm, fragrant Um Ali and freshly baked Basbousa, providing a suitably indulgent finale to the feast.
