Guinness marks St. Patrick’s season with nationwide celebrations, inviting stout lovers to enjoy a perfectly poured pint at participating outlets throughout March.
Guinness is bringing the spirit of Ireland to Malaysia this St. Patrick’s season, with celebrations taking place at more than 40 bars and pubs nationwide throughout March. The campaign invites stout lovers to gather with friends and enjoy one of the world’s most recognisable beers while marking a tradition that has endured for more than two and a half centuries.
The festivities began at The Square at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya, where an energetic Irish-style parade featuring bagpipers and drummers set the tone for a month of celebrations across the country. The lively kickoff reflected the festive atmosphere that typically accompanies St. Patrick’s Day events around the world, as Guinness continues its long association with the Irish holiday.

For over 260 years, Guinness has played a central role in St. Patrick’s Day celebrations globally. Known for its deep ruby body and smooth, creamy head, the stout has become a symbol of Irish brewing heritage and a familiar sight in pubs during the annual festivities. The ritual of raising a pint of Guinness remains closely tied to the social traditions surrounding the holiday.
As part of this year’s campaign, participating outlets will introduce the “Double the Guinness” experience, inspired by the brand’s distinctive two-part pour. Customers who purchase a Guinness Draught set will receive a token that allows them to take part in a pouring challenge. Those who successfully recreate the look of a perfectly poured pint will be rewarded with Guinness Draught served in a pint glass, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

In addition, a limited-time promotion will run throughout March at participating outlets. Customers who purchase two sets of Guinness Draught will receive an additional pint, while stocks last and subject to the respective outlets’ terms and conditions.
“Guinness has long been at the heart of St. Patrick’s Day,” said Joyce Lim, Marketing Manager at Guinness Malaysia. “More than an Irish stout, it represents heritage, craft and the shared ritual of raising a pint together. This St. Patrick’s, we invite stout lovers to come together to share stories, laughter and meaningful moments in celebration of the occasion.”

The nationwide campaign aims to recreate the convivial spirit typically associated with St. Patrick’s Day gatherings, offering beer enthusiasts across Malaysia the opportunity to enjoy the iconic stout in a festive setting.
