Grab your paddle, gather your crew, and get ready for two days of pickleball, American craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of questionable backhands at Pickle Park.
Kura’s PickleBeer Social is bringing a distinctly American twist to the pickleball court with the Courtside Craft Beer & BBQ Festival, taking place August 21–22 at Pickle Park.
Organized by Kura’s in partnership with the Last Minute Club, the two-day festival combines two things that go rather well together: a lively game of pickleball and a cold craft beer waiting courtside. Expect BBQ, good food, plenty of atmosphere, and a special selection of American craft beers, including pours that are not otherwise available in Malaysia. Interested? Yeah, so are we!
For those keen to earn their refreshments, Kura’s PickleBeer Social is RM175 per crew, with a wonderfully simple formula: one court, one hour, no limit on the number of players, four draft US craft beers, and four limited-edition event coasters. Bring your friends, rotate players, and see how competitive things get after a few games.
The organizers promise an appropriately relaxed approach. There are no rankings, no pressure, and presumably no need to explain that backhand to anyone afterward. As Kura’s puts it, it’s all about “questionable backhands and a good time.”
The Courtside Craft Beer & BBQ Festival runs from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, August 21, and from 11am to 10pm on Saturday, August 22. PickleBeer Social slots are limited, so anyone wanting to get on court should book ahead.
